Business as usual

I've gotten a number of super-happy customer emails over the weekend. That's the part I loved about running the giftshop. It's also a big part of the reason I closed it - I was getting to the point where I was simply unable to provide the quality of service that is so important to me to give. I would rather have a small, streamlined business where I can bend over backwards for a few select clients and make their projects happen than try to be everything for everyone and fly apart at the seams.

Art and Authoring

Still haven't scanned the new Roses work, but have a finished mermaid piece!

Home and Hearth

My house is still pretty.

My studio, however, is a disaster and I hope to get it beaten into shape before I leave.

My list of things to do before I leave keeps growing. It is very scary! Fortunately, I have tomorrow off of work. I got my show mostly hung, but have to go back and finish it up tomorrow early evening. I have to pack (tonight!). I have to print up some pricing tags. I have to write some emails and set up my autoresponders. *runs around headless-like*
