We woke up in fairyland this morning. There was a heavy, crystal fog that turned our little forest into a magical place. Fall is over. It snowed on Sunday, though it all melted at once, and the leaves are nearly all on the ground, a golden mat that rustles like music. And it's getting dark, so this morning was not only foggy, but twilight-lit.

It was an amazing fall. Long, and sunny, and gold against glorious blue. Times like these are worth capturing in memory.
