First, the things I will be doing:
Today:
Organize myself such that weekly forum announcements can once again be made. This got dropped years ago when Jennie stopped handling it for me, but it was an awesome touch that needs to be revitalized. Mondays would be best, hence this is a today thing.
Mail orders. (Already in the car!)
Before the end of the month:
I will get all of the text selected and input into the anthology. Quite waffling.
I will be posting the new coloring book to the webpage.
I will be organizing the stationery sale to run May - October. (EMG will be 15 in October, and stationery was her start.)
I will go through 50 EMG giftshop submissions.
I will finish the article on Orphan Works
I will finish The Trains Must Run on Time, the artwork. (I'd like to also finish the story, but that's less critical.)
Edit the artist guidelines for the giftshop so it's a touch more obvious. Perhaps put that whole 'hardcopy required' bit in RED or make it blink or something.
Then, the things that YOU will be doing:
(If you like)
Look into your harddrives and hearts, and search for any work you may have that is Egyptian. This is an easy theme! Then, you will go and submit it to EMG-Zine. http://www.emg-zine.com/submitart.php or http://www.emg-zine.com/guidelines.php
Then, you will think about upcoming themes and create work for them:
July - The Senses
August - Muses
September - Blades
October - Leaves
November - Ice
December - Wings
You may also write a letter to the editor, or post some WIP for review at either the EMG forums, or the Fantastic Portfolio forums. I promise to thoughtfully critique anything put at either of those places and invite you to do the same.
You don't HAVE to do any of these things, of course, but it would surely make my day, and I know folks are frequently asking if they can help in any way. :) (Oh, heck, just *reading* EMG-Zine makes my day! Linking to it, or just telling someone about it, makes my week!)
