April Fools

Everyone who logged into the back end of EMG yesterday - on the first day of open submissions! - got this message:

No one so much as squeaked! I'm crushed! I must have completely spoiled my trustworthy image with my prank two years ago: http://ellenmillion.livejournal.com/536581.html

Anywho... good mail days lately! I'm still waiting on a series of paintings I'm selling for someone that was supposed to arrive by courier yesterday, but I did get some fun makeup samples, tea samples for the forthcoming Red Wombat line, and color calibration software that I finally broke down and bought. And a lot of tax expense information that isn't as helpful as it should be. Gee, telling me I made $17312 in 'miscellaneous purchase' doesn't help me break things up for taxes. Morons. I'll probably be spending some quality time with my receipt pile this evening after work.

Back to printing! And other such things.
