Forty degrees today. Forty FLIPPING degrees. Mother nature is confused. And, no one can drive.
The new transfer paper I got is completely different than the last batch. New striping pattern, almost transparent backer - which is REALLY nice for being able to line up tight-margined work - and a brighter print result. A little more sensitive to feeder trackmarks. It also color shifts even worse than the last stuff, which meant playing around with things quite a lot; I have to print everything saturated a gawdawful amount to magenta or it is GREEN after pressing. Not just green, GREEN. But I think I've got it figured now, and the misprints I made will get snapped up at the fair for a few dollars off. Had a lot of fun anyway, and gave up my lunchtime DVD slot to experiment with color and get a wholesale order of t-shirts and purses out.
Once upon a time, three Aussies, two Alaskans and a girl from New York drove to Norway. (Though a wrong turn took them 30 km towards Finland, first...) Turns out that the New York girl is getting married next year! Just heard via email. What a blast from the past.
I have an itch to ink roses, but am at work, and the roses are not portable. Not even close.
Tonight is dance class, which I'm looking forward to.
Commenting is sporadic out of me, which is nothing new!
