LJ Idol - joining

In typical backwards fashion, I am joining after I wrote the first post.

http://community.livejournal.com/therealljidol/68021.html - in case you are wondering 'what on earth?'

What can I say? It looked like fun, and I blog almost daily anyway... maybe this will be a welcome break from: 'Then I did this. Then I did that. Then I wept over my to do list. Then I got up and did something crazed that wasn't on it. Then I did that other thing. Insert printer angst.'

If you don't vote for me I will Fail as A PERSON because you don't love me. Er, I mean, it will be okay, I'm only doing it as a writing challenge, really. Really!

And yeah, I'm going to try to do NaNoWriMo, too. Sort of, anyway. I have things that need written, and I'm going to try to write 50K words of them. It may not be a novel in the true spirit of the thing.

Now I have to go finish up the banner rotation script. And eat something. And take some pain pills, because my teeth are starting to hurt.

(The worst part of the fillings was not the pain - it was that I was continually getting water sprinkled on the back of my throat, which made me feel like I was drowning and choking for and hour and a half straight. That, and the shrill drilling-bone noise that sort of echoes through your nasal cavity. Fillings aren't fun.)
