Spider bite and no super powers...

It itches! It itches!

I got bit by a spider sometime last night, and it burns and itches and hurts all at once. Four little bitey-bites that have swollen up into two lumps right on the bridge of my nose between my eyes. They look a little like two recent mosquito bites now, but have persisted all day instead of fading like those would.

All that, and NO SUPER POWERS. I'm miffed.

ETA: In non-spider news, big thanks for the sympathetic noises to my last post - it was very cathet... cathar... I feel better.

I MIGHT have all three calendars before the last day of the fair! I totally didn't expect that at all - I didn't get the shipped notice on Meredith's, so her 'I got them!' was a total sideswipe... for once the surprise printer news was not bad! Horrah!

Rained BUCKETS today, had a lake the size of Birch in front of the tent and ankle-deep. Got a bridge from the wonderful sign maker, which turned into an island as the lake expanded, but there wasn't much of a crowd to be deterred by it, and it did finally taper off in the evening and start to recede. Still did okay, if not super, and the weekend was good enough that a slow day doesn't hurt too bad. Fair has been generally great - good folks to see again and OH! I got my latex ears from Elena in the mail and could put them out today - folks got a hit out of trying them on and showing their friends. Should try to remember to bring camera tomorrow.

Sleep now!
