Brakes failed in the car yesterday. They started acting really oddly, losing compression if I was easing down on them, and they finally gave up the ghost after I'd done some running around. Left poor Gwen (yes, I name my cars) at the Regency Mall overnight and had her towed to the shop this morning after nearly rear-ending some poor pickup. Rather alarming events. Brakes are our friends. Turns out part of the brake system was waiting for us at home in the driveway. Greeeattt.
