Floor paint and randomness...

The floor is painted! A weekend and two very, very late evenings, plus way too many days without my cat, and we have a gorgeous (okay, not ugly) forest green floor. A tremendous improvement over the plaster-speckled, splotchy, splintery plywood that we had before. Matches the counters perfectly. I will take photos.

It has been challenging! It's fairly back-straining work (not awful, but not kind), and we tried doing it first in two stages, seeing as we have to get from the bottom of the stairs to the front door to use the 'facilities' and go to work (24 hour dry time), but that looked a little funky, so last night, late, we did a second coat over the Whole Thing. Looks fantastic. We painted ourselves upstairs, and just tiptoed stocking-footed on the driest spots this morning. My boots were Very Cold, since they were outside all night.

Randomly: it scares me very much that so many sex sites turn up when I do a search for stuffed animals...

What else...? dunno. Time to leave work in the dust and go fill orders.
