Day off.

I have decided to take the day entirely off of EMG. Won't even talk about it. (Except to mention that I posted a lot of work at both PA and the storefront yesterday afternoon... and to post two webadopted portraits that have already been paid for.)

Found the perfect Christmas gift for my nephews... this awesome metal scoop shovel that you can sit on and use to excavate snow or sand. I would have loved it, and it doesn't have any electronic parts (personal pet peeve of children's toys these days).

We're making ham and bean soup for dinner tonight and we're going to clean up the floor to prep for painting tomorrow. I have dishes to do, too. Other than that... I may art. I may watch Buffy. I may read a fluffy novel. Oo, I may write, if I feel like it. Lalalala!

Woke up and broke into a rash this morning, which led to a wonderfully invigorating naked rinse outside in the snow. Felt a hundred times better, and boy, that works better than coffee. Towled off, slipped into clean comfortable clothing, had coffee and cereal with my husband while we discussed Christmas gifts. We were out late last night playing Settlers of Catan with friends of his from work after I'd spent some hours updating the -- oh, right, taboo subject. Anyway, FUN game, really enjoyed it. I fear it was the very friendly cat who led to my rash... definitely caused some weepy eyes and sniffling last night. Slept like a rock.

I'm going to go thumbnail some ideas for a 'full circle' themed image....

Aaaaaaaaaaaart! *dances*
