They didn't charge me for the inspection, really nice people over there at Computerwerks, and they offered to throw it out for me so I don't have to come pick it up.
Bitch about Epsons: THEY DON'T LAST WORTH SHIT. Ahem. This particular machine was the *THIRD* one I had under my warranty.
Rave about Epsons: There is simply nothing on the market that compares in quality.
So... Now I have a choice. Do I spend $5000 on the printer that I think I really want (the 7500 professional), do I go with the 2000P (I'm thinking not), or do I try out the 1280. The 1270 is no longer made. The biggest plus to the 1280 is that I have a case full of 1270 cartridges that will fit it. Very, very big plus. And it's the cheapest of the options. And a dealer I trust carries them. And it comes with the roll mount, which could save me some money on paper because I can buy it via roll. I'm seriously leaning towards the 1280. Still researching, but I need to move quickly so I can get some orders and the RWH stuff done. This century.
