SEE HOW I SUFFER FOR YOU, CHILD.
That said, it was actually super fun. I wore shorts, put my hair in braids, and donned a flowered straw hat. The heat at school was up to 80, and there were slushies and kiddy pools with sand and water and it was dreadfully messy and chaotic and fun and I would do it again, but not until I've forgotten how much work it was and my back stops hurting. (Though the back hurting MAY be due to the slippery walk to visit chickens last night.)
Came home and got her to eat a little before tucking her down for a much-needed nap. I got a few hundred words of story written, and still have breakfast dishes to finish... also laundry!
Then, maybe I will earn some art time.
