October 2015 Roundup

Have you missed some of my creative updates over the last month? I'm doing monthly roundups to try to keep some sense in the chaos!

Finally! After a dry few months, I had actual artwork to share!

I only did two pieces for Sketch Fest, but one of them was finished for a holiday card:

This was part of #inktober - I finished 31 pieces in 31 days! Some of them I've shared, more of them I haven't:

Many of those pieces became available portraits; 8 were posted and 1 adopted: http://portraitadoption.com/paartist.php?profile=9

Scars, an illustration posted at River Twine: http://www.rivertwine.com/artpageview.php?id=2630

Two pieces were posted to Torn World: Silk-hare and Favorite Doll

I also did new color for the revised cover of Dotminatrix:

Old version on the left, new on the right. A marked improvement, and worth the time it took.

I also painted about 40 ornaments.

I finished my novella!! I'm hoping to give it some polish on Thursday during preschool and send it off to where it goes next. Then, maybe I can start on some of the other ideas in my head.

I finished laying out and proofing two new coloring books: Wildflowers of Alaska and Christmas Sprites. They will be officially released later this week once I've got stock.

And I launched the subscription Kickstarter, and we funded in 48 hours! Horrah! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1624616265/monthly-fantasy-coloring-books-for-adults
