A productive morning - a wholesale order out the door, about 800 words of writing, some art, a trip to the post office. Swimming yesterday went great - I spent some time in the hot tub, swam some laps (oh, I'm rusty!), and soaked some more. Guppy came to see me a time or two, but went back to class when I told her to. She walked to the end of the diving board without protest - they lower the kids in rather than expecting them to jump, but the first few times she didn't want to make the walk. One of the other instructors said it was nice to see her progress. With some kids, they aren't really sure if the stuff they are teaching is making any difference, but she's definitely making strides and getting more courageous.
I've got an interview this evening that is making me terrifically excited and nervous, so I'm putting the artwork aside and working on less permanent things. Especially since I'm to the ink stage of two of these pieces.
There are spots for vendors available at the Midnight Sun Fest, and I would be sorely, sorely tempted... except that I no longer have a tent and tables. Maybe in a few years. I miss doing shows. But not the fair. I don't miss the fair yet.
Her dish-washing help is questionable, but her enthusiasm is undeniable.
