Wednesdaily with OH, this child.

Monsterus Minimus has been extra-super needy, following me around so closely I whacked her in the forehead with the vacuum handle as I was vacuuming (causing tears). She alternates between saying "Lookit me, Mama! Lookit me! Lookitmelookitmelookitme!" and then doing something she knows is bad, and sobbing heartbreakingly, saying "I need a huuuuuuug! Can I hava hug?" She'll say she's hungry and dictate exactly the food she wants, get it served to her, take one bite (or just push it around on the plate), then announce, "I'm done!" Five minutes later, she's starving again, and we do it all over again.

"Do you wanna watch something?" she'll ask. "Nope," I'll tell her. "We're not going to watch anything." With no pause for comprehension, she asks, "Do you wanna watch something?" "Nope." "Do you want to watch something?" "No." "Do you want to watch something?" "Still no." "Do you want to watch something?" (silence) "Do you want to watch something?" "No!" "Do you want to watch something?" "Please stop asking." "Do you want to watch something?" (Head explodes)

So I sat and read a dozen books with her to distract her, and she pointed at one of the pictures. "What's that?"

"That's a plate of cookies!" I said. "Do you want to bake cookies?"

So we baked cookies. Then we went for a walk.

Now, she is finally sleeping, so I am going to make phonecalls and poke at world domination...

And also draw sea monsters.
