Mondaily, take 2

Laundry is in, bread is rising, baby is back in bed for a nap, breakfast is eaten, and some admin-stuff is taken care of. I'm less stompy than I was, and there has been giggling and peekaboo and stacking of toys to make me feel better.

Things still to do:

*Follow up on pending Sketch Fest sales
*Sketch Fest payouts
*Something arty or writery
*Laundry to dryer, fold
*Webpage stuff for Client #TWO
*Coloring Book order
*Start plotting next coloring book - bonus page??
*inspect spreadsheet

Over at Torn World, the next installment of the big South Meets North storyline is up: Out of Steam, Part 3. (Start the story here!) We're only 2/20 comments towards a bonus episode on Friday - leave comments on ANY artwork or fiction at the site to help us reach that goal!

Sketch Fest this weekend was a blast. We had 77 participants, and so far, 354 pieces have been uploaded. No horrible errors reported. This piece was my favorite (of mine):

Snail-drawn chariot, prompted by Ash

But this was a close second:

Blueberry Dragon, prompted by Anke

See all of mine here: http://www.ellenmilliongraphics.com/sketchfest/sketchfestartist.php?id=9 or all of the Fest results here: http://www.ellenmilliongraphics.com/sketchfest/sketchfestgallery.php?date=34

I also got a walk in, both Saturday and Sunday, and Norway was happy to come bouncing off down the trail with me. It's surprising how much easier it is to walk without the extra 25 lbs of baby and carrier!

Guppy helped us assemble beds this weekend; she is turning into a zoomy little handful, which no one in the world didn't expect. She can crawl quite fast now, wants to be in the thick of the action, can pull up on just about anything and is inclined to then reach for things. She's made the leap to putting things INTO other things - and I'm hopeful (though not terrifically optimistic) that we can encourage this into a trend of putting toys AWAY. Have I mentioned that she loves to blow bubbles? Not just in cups, she will dunk her face into her bathwater over and over and over again and blurble away like a fish.

She has sprouted at least one more tooth, but was protesting too wildly to let me inspect very thoroughly, so there may be more lurking in there, too. The drooling and red cheeks are less today, so perhaps the worst has passed. She also slept through the night, though she was up early this morning. (Not painfully early, at least!)

Off to shower now while I can.
