What's your favorite part of Sketch Fest? (Put long answers in the comments!

So, I'm thinking about compiling Rails into an ebook and possibly a print copy. Should I:

Release it as a collection of what appears at the webpage. (Possibly with a bonus story)
5(21.7%)
Make minor modifications so that the stories blend together a little better.
14(60.9%)
Make major modifications so that it reads like a novella rather than a series of short stories.
4(17.4%)

What bonus bits would entice you to buy it as an ebook or physical hardcopy?

A bonus backstory about Bai and Ressa becoming friends
4(9.3%)
A spicy-bits edition with extra racy bonus scenes
3(7.0%)
Extra illustrations
9(20.9%)
A smoothed-over version that reads as a single story, rather than a collection of shorts.
4(9.3%)
Just having it in one easy-to-read file is a big bonus!
9(20.9%)
A printed ACEO with a copy of the hardcopy
7(16.3%)
A chance to win some of the original art with any purchase
6(14.0%)
Something else I'll explain in the comments.
1(2.3%)

I'm also working on an all-me coloring book. Check all that apply.

Yay! I'm saving my pennies!
13(19.4%)
It's cheating to use any work that has previously appeared in a coloring book.
0(0.0%)
Even if that coloring book has been out of print for years.
0(0.0%)
It's also cheating to use work that was in Tell Me a Story, even though that wasn't really intended to be colored.
0(0.0%)
A bonus piece no one has seen before would be awesome!
22(32.8%)
(But isn't necessary)
19(28.4%)
It should have a theme, not just be random work.
7(10.4%)
A chance to win some of the original art with it would make me more likely to buy a copy.
5(7.5%)
Your coloring books are too expensive.
0(0.0%)
Your coloring books are so cheap!

I think most of my answers to the latter questions are more along the lines of "hmmm, I hadn't thought about it, but that sounds nice!" rather than "It MUST HAVE THIS THING!" (Well, except for cowbell. Always needs more cowbell.) In particular, I don't think that the stories need to be edited together, but putting the book together is a good opportunity to work in little twists and references to later/earlier events, so hey, why not?

I clicked: "Something else I'll explain in the comments." but I forget what I was going to say!

I need to start saving pennies. :)

Put your Rapunzel one in the collection! :)

I love reading about all of the things you put here, I just tend to actually comment about the baby.

More cowbell!

I do read quite a bit of fiction & poetry on LJ, but I mildly prefer that it be linked to elsewhere (or behind a cut), whereas pictures (of reasonable size) totally belong in posts. Maybe I should've clicked that ticky-box, too?

Sketchfest!
1) shiny shiny art.
2) fascinating and unexpected interpretations of prompts, mine and otherwise.
3) prompting to do the occasional strange and different thing m'self.

Must catch up on Torn World ...

Hmm! Is it a length thing on the link vs. full post? I am debating putting the South Meets North posts behind a cut at Torn World. Perhaps another poll! (New North Meets South starts next week! Ee! It's all been recap until now...)

Quite possibly. Some people prefer ~all the content on one page to scroll through; some prefer a list of pointers to open as separate pages. I seem to be the latter. Making both sorts happy is tricky, though I believe there are greasemonkey scripts that will install cut-equivalents and I could set one up for myself.

Not as obvious as all that - I am never sure how much MY unbridled enthusiasm for a project is coloring my perception of other peoples enjoyment of it. :P

I don't manage to do as much during sketchfests and I'd like, but they're _still_ good for me!

I love to read all of the "slice of life" stuff. I'll admit I skim the artwork and projects posts, but I have so much to read/do... I just realized that some Sketch Fest artwork is available for purchase. I hadn't even gotten around to looking at the artwork, yet! o.O I always read the Alaska and Guppy posts when I get around to trying to catch up on LJ, though.
