If you've got a psuedo-fantasy, semi-arctic setting, you might want to give this a read. It's clearly setting-specific, but might give you some ideas.

I want to get the following one roughed into place before I submit it (to make sure I don't need to rearrange anything), but I rather like how it came together. And I do love an excuse to describe fancy formalwear...
