Perhaps knowing that its days are numbered, my completely freshly re-formated laptop with half the program load it should have is STILL running brutally slow. Who knew this thing could be so passive aggressive??? On the plus side, my laptop is OUT FOR DELIVERY! Here! Already!!! I had it sent to my sister's house, so I have to wait for it to actually be delivered, and then go get it, but EEEEEEEeeeeee!

I will be clicking that tracking page obsessively for the next several hours.

In other news, don't forget to submit artwork and fiction (or poetry) for EMG-Zine - the current theme we're collecting for is Butterflies. And, because we've got another 6 months funded (YAY!), we need to come up with some more themes! Ideas? Suggestions? I'd love to post them by tomorrow.

Likewise, we're looking for some new columnists; I'd particularly like to see one on the writing end, as we're stacked pretty heavily towards the art end currently.

And speaking of art, we need art questions!! The 'Ask an Artist' column may be getting a shake-up, but to make it work, we definitely need some questions. Do you have media question? Business questions? Copyright questions? Technique, theory or application curiosities? Feel free to ask as many as you'd like!

Much programming to do today, off to do it! I am very, very behind on emails, I apologize to all of you waiting for answers to questions, and hope to clear a few of those out today, too. (Checks tracking status of new laptop.)
