Business as Usual:

The Art of the Business of Fantasy Art Volume 3 ships this week! Pre-order your copy now!

Sketch Fest is this Friday!

EMG-Zine is looking for work in the theme of 'Storms!'

Muse Fusion is on the 21st!

Art and Authoring:

Finished another story this weekend, and am approaching the finishing line on two others. Bai's study is in the final uphill slog - I've just got two curtains and the front of the desk to finish - lots of texture and not so much of the fun detailing.

Check out Conscience of the King - Elizabeth wrote the poem from my prompt but didn't have a good way to show it off the way it was intended to be read, so I programmed a page for it in exchange for sponsorship! If the text is too small or too large, use ctrl+ or ctrl- to change its size - programming for variable browsers, windows and OS is challenging. If I had it to do again, I'd use CSS - this was a fun challenge, and not nearly as straight-forward as I expected. (That is the story of my programming life...)

Health and Home:

I wish my body's reaction to stress was not to shed weight. Somehow, I've lost 10 pounds, and while most people I know would be yay and horrah over something like that, I am sincerely not. I've added situps to my daily regiment recently for core strength, but 20 measly situps should not result in weight loss. On the plus, the general core strength I've been cultivating has made a very large positive difference in the amount of back pain I suffer. Still no running for me (*sadface*), but I can lift things and twist without paying for it later.

Plans for the Day:

I got up a few hours early to work on some Torn World programming. Have some drafting and webwork to do the rest of the day. Husband is home sick with the 'I want to diiiiiieeeee.' Norway gets to go to the vet for shots and a checkup today, lucky dog. Trip to the post office (mail in his obedience class registration and pick up a package) and doing some laundry to fit in there somewhere.
